Our Rates for Buying Coins and Bullion
When you’re thinking about selling some of your coins, bullion, or entire coin collection, you’ll want to shop around to get as much as possible for them. You won’t find better coin and bullion buyback pricing in the region than at The Luxury Exchange.
Why Sell to The Luxury Exchange?
We offer among the most competitive rates in the industry for your gold, silver, platinum, palladium, coins, coin collections, bullion, bars, rounds, ingots, and more! But don’t take our word for it—call around and check out the rates of our competitors for yourself—if they’ll even reveal their rates; most other coin and bullion dealers like to keep their rates secret. Sometimes they will not even give quotes over the phone and try to pressure you to visit their place of business before they give you any idea what they are paying.
At The Luxury Exchange, we believe in transparency and are proud to provide our buying rates over the phone and also post our buying rates online. We know your time is as valuable as your coins, and we want to do whatever we can to help you make an informed decision when it comes time to sell.
Our Buying Process
During your appointment, we will evaluate your items and make a no-obligation offer. At The Luxury Exchange, you’ll never be pressured into selling when you aren’t ready. If you accept our offer, we’ll pay you on the spot via a company check or cash, if available. Other payment options may be available for sizable transactions.
Products
The Luxury Exchange primarily focuses on coins, bullion, watches, estate jewelry, and handbags. It buys United States coins, PCGS and NGC-certified coins, rare paper money, gold, silver, and platinum bullion. The Luxury Exchange’s expertise covers rare numismatic coins as well as precious metals bullion products, allowing it to often pay significantly more for certain coins than other buyers. The Luxury Exchange has numerous outlets for these items and works on low margins, which creates exceptional prices for those buying or selling.
Bullion:
The Luxury Exchange will purchase bullion in the form of bars, rounds, and coins containing gold, silver, platinum, or palladium. Pieces will be accepted regardless of condition and whether the mint or producer is private or government.
Coins:
The Luxury Exchange will buy silver, gold, platinum, and palladium coins regardless of denomination, year, condition, or country of origin. These include but are not limited to common collector’s pieces such as U.S. Morgan and Peace dollars minted in 1935 or earlier, U.S. half dollars minted in 1970 or earlier, and U.S. dimes and quarters minted before 1964. Other old, rare, numismatic, collectible, and commemorative coins in raw and certified condition and many types of U.S.-minted sets will also be purchased.
Watches:
Watch values vary by brand and model, therefore it is not prudent to buy every brand in the fine watch market. Currently, there are over 50 brands and hundreds of models of fine watches we will purchase such as Rolex, Patek Philippe, Panerai, Omega, Breitling, Cartier, Hublot, and many more. The Luxury Exchange buys every type of Rolex from Submariner to Rolex Date Just to Rolex Yacht-Master. Our watch experts will evaluate your watch for what it is truly worth, factoring in market demand and availability as well as the condition of the watch and any repairs that need to be made.
Handbags:
The second-hand luxury goods resale industry is experiencing rapid growth, driven by increasing consumer demand for sustainable and affordable luxury fashion. As more people recognize the value and benefits of purchasing preowned designer goods, there is a significant opportunity for entrepreneurs to enter the market and establish a profitable business.
Estate Jewelry:
Jewelry is considered “Estate” if the piece of jewelry in question has a previous owner. However, contrary to common belief—the prior owner of a piece of estate jewelry may very well still be alive. While the previous owners of a considerable percentage of estate jewelry have indeed passed away, the vitality of the last owner has nothing to do with a piece of jewelry’s status as estate jewelry. Another common misconception in the world of estate jewelry, age has nothing to do with whether a piece of jewelry is classified as “Estate”. Although many estate pieces on the market today may be 50, 100, or even 150+ years old, age is not a determining factor when classifying estate jewelry.
